CARTRIDGE, 40MM: HEDP, M433
This specification is approved for interim use by the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and
Engineering Center (ARDEC). Other activities in the Department of Defense may use this interim
revision or may continue using MIL-C-50872C (AR) and MIL-C-48082B (AR).
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the metal parts, assemblies, and the loading,
assembling, and packing for one type of 40MM: High-Explosive, Dual-Purpose (HEDP)
cartridge, designated Cartridge, 40MM: HEDP, M433.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3 or 4 of this
specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specification
or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been made to
ensure the completeness of this list, document users are cautioned that they must meet all
