This specification is approved for interim use by the U.S. Army Armament Research,
Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC). Other activities in the Department of
Defense may use this interim revision or may continue using MIL-L-45585D (AR).
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers one type of link designated as Link,
Cartridge: Metallic Belt, 40MM: M16A2.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

of this specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of
this specification or recommended for additional information or as examples. While
